How to travel in Goa
Traveling in Goa becomes a major problem for tourist due to improper knowledge. There are different means of transport in Goa viz bus, taxi, rickshaw, motor bike and ferry (water transport).
The major local transport in Goa is bus transport. It is also the cheapest transport in Goa. The major bus stand in Goa is Panaji, which is in north Goa. The city is the capital of Goa. Margao bus stand is a major bus stand in south Goa. Mapusa bus stand situated in north Goa and Ponda and Vasco from south are among other major bus stands. You can find a taxi and rickshaw and motorbike on the same bus stands.
The most unique transport is motorbike. If a person is traveling and find bus transport boring and taxi or rickshaw expensive he can take a motorbike. Only single person is allowed to travel on the Motor bike.
Ferry, water transport which is used to connect some of the island in goa. Traveling in ferry is free for the public and two wheeler’s. Other vehicles are charged. This is managed by the Government of Goa.
If you have a driving license then you can also take a 2 wheeler on rent in goa.
